Our “Vino delle Anfore” results from a combination between the land, man, art and the culture of ancient Romagna.
From an old vineyard of Trebbiano Romagnolo, planted over 40 years ago at 150 metres above sea level, comes this wine, which undergoes a special production process.
The hand-selected grapes are placed in special terracotta amphoras, produced by craftsmen from the clays of Faenza, for the alcoholic fermentation to take place.
The wine then remains in amphoras for three months, where it matures and acquires an inimitable finesse on the nose and a highly attractive, silky mouthfeel.
Once it is bottled, the wine is labelled with a hand-painted medallion of Faenza pottery, illustrated with the loving features of one of the city’s Renaissance ladies.
